I hope you enjoy these, too, and if you have found (or made!) anything decent lately, please let me know.
- Worse on Purpose: a site that keeps track of famous brands (and their owners) and whether they're still worth it or have declined in quality (also see enshittification).
- Flowstate is a service that transforms handwritten notes into digital formats that can be used in the tools you already use.
- Want to become a little more resilient and self-sufficient? Want to prepare for Doomsday? Here's a Swiss government website that shows you exactly what to get, in what quantities, depending on the size of your household and how long you want to survive for.
- Uplock is a lovely native iOS and Mac app for securely saving everything but your passwords — think passports, ID cards, private documents, and more.
- Want to own Stanley Kubrick's directors chair? It's going up for auction along with a few other collectors pieces soon.
Enjoy the weekend!
