On my recent holiday and a trip to Barter Books (my new favourite place), I picked up a second-hand book: The complete book of self-sufficiency, by John Seymour.
It’s a big book filled with illustrations and information and I haven’t read it fully yet.
But so far I’m captivated.
There is a lot of talk about preppers lately. There are many wondering how we can be more resilient to the changing world — climate, supply chains, price fluctuations and more.
There are people questioning how much plastic we have in our lives.
There are people wishing for healthier diets, and improved gut health.
There are people who are desperate to save money and reduce their expenditure.
This book has some answers and ideas for all of these topics and plenty more.
I will share more as I explore some of the ideas and techniques here.
Wish me luck.
